If you know me, you know that I have been training to focus more on special needs photography. As part of my training for Special Kids Photography of America, I have been working with families of children with special needs that are willing to be a part of my education process. I know that family by family I am becoming a more effective and conscientious photographer for kids with special needs. I am so grateful to the families that have chosen to take part in my training! With that, I’d like to introduce one of my special kids, Jayla, who has been diagnosed with down syndrome. She is a beautiful five year old girl who just started kindergarten this year. She was just an absolute pleasure to photograph. She ran around the playground sliding, climbing, and swinging. She had no interest in me at all and that was just fine. I followed her around and captured her in her element, enjoying herself to the utmost!
